Welcome to the 5th Annual JFM Memorial Gala Page!! This year's event is being held on Saturday February 3rd at Llanerch Country Club, starting at 5:30PM. The event is invitation only, so please only purchase a ticket if you have already received your invitation. Inquiries for extra tickets can be made by contacting Patrick McNichol.
The JFM Fund was established in 2013 by The McNichol Family and The Elpis Foundation benefitting The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. This fund will provide financial support for lung cancer research conducted by Dr. James Metz, specifically, as it relates to early detection and screening, circulating tumor cells and immunotherapy.
We have pledged $200,000 to The Abramson Cancer Center and to date have donated $132,000. We look forward to celebrating the life of Joseph McNichol and raising money for such a wonderful cause! We have just $68,000 to go. Its a big number for one year, but we are looking to make it happen in our 5th Gala! We will need some help and we are looking right at you to volunteer and come up with some creative ways to raise more funds to beat Lung Cancer!
We will again have an open bar and fantastic buffet provided by the wonderful staff at Llanerch Country Club. Mike Liney will again be headlining the event, playing all your favorite tunes to keep the party going. Tickets to this years event at $150 and can be purchased below! You can also send a check to the Elpis Foundation to 1271 Upton Circle, West Chester, PA 19380.
The last two years we have had the "wine pull" and it was a HUGE success! For those unfamiliar, here is a good video to explain how it works. For this to be even more successful, we are again asking people to donate bottle of wine or put us in contact with some bar owners, liquor store managers/owners etc. who may be able to help us out! The more wine we can collect, the more fun it will be!
We are very eager to see you out there and we encourage everyone to support the JFM Fund in any way you are comfortable. We are looking for private monetary donations for the event, raffle and auction prizes as well as event volunteers. No gift or donation is too small!
If you can not attend but would still like to get involved, please email Patrick at mcnichol@elpisfoundation.com

I would like to begin by thanking all of you who have supported The War on the Shore in some fashion over the years. But we still have a lot of work to do!!
